Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and committed Safety Coordinator to support marine and land project operations by maintaining a safeworking environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and project safety standards, and enabling smooth site operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all project Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in strict alignment with internal safety protocols and project requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the Safety Officer to implement and monitor safety protocols that mitigate risks and enhance site safety.
• Promote and enforce a proactive safety culture by driving rigorous safe-work practices across project sites.
• Conduct systematic site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues, and initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate and lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) inductions to educate and engage site personnel.
• Assist in preparing detailed risk assessments, safe work procedures (SWP), and method statements to support safe project execution.

Required competencies and certifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Singapore.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in marine and land project operations.
• Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, particularly related to marine and port projects.
• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safe work procedures.
• Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills demonstrated in safety management contexts.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications for report preparation and documentation.
