About the role

We are seeking a Production Executive to join the team at Papillon Powder Manufacturers SB. This is a full-time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are maintained at all times. As a Production Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating production activities, managing scheduling, and liaising between various departments to ensure smooth operational flow. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet production targets and maintain our reputation for excellence in powder manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

1. Monitor and oversee daily production operations to ensure targets are met within agreed timelines

2. Co-ordinate production schedules and work with the planning team to optimise workflow and resource allocation

3. Supervise production staff and provide guidance to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures

4. Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications

5. Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency

6. Maintain accurate production records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes

7. Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to co-ordinate material supply and product dispatch

8. Ensure all health, safety and environmental regulations are followed on the production floor

9. Report on production metrics, including downtime analysis and performance indicators

10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance

What we're looking for

1. A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in production planning, production scheduling, or a similar operational role within manufacturing

2. Knowledge of production processes, particularly in powder manufacturing or production environments

3. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office applications

4.Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues
