Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown. This role involves leading the interior design process from concept development to completion, including space planning, material and finishes selection, and coordination of FF&E. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare and review construction drawings, collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and contractors, and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include client presentations, design documentation, site visits, and mentoring junior team members to uphold design quality and project efficiency.
Qualifications

• Holds Malaysian passport
• Willing to be based in Penang
• Full time / Work from Home Position
• Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to develop functional, aesthetic, and user-centered spatial solutions.
• Solid foundation in Architecture, with experience integrating interior concepts into overall building design.
• Hands-on experience producing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed documentation for implementation and coordination.
• Expertise in FF&E selection and specification, ensuring materials, furniture, and equipment align with project concept, budget, and performance needs.
• Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar visualization tools).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams.
• Demonstrated experience in leading interior design projects, including project coordination, time management, and quality control.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of professional experience in interior design or architectural practices.
