Job Summary

Manage the accounts payable function to ensure accurate payment processing, maintain financial records, prepare forecasts, and support finance management with accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all payments in the company’s accounting system to ensure financial transparency
• Process vendor invoices and expense vouchers promptly to guarantee timely payments and maintain control reports
• Prepare payment forecasts to support cash flow planning and financial decision-making
• Identify and recommend improvements to accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Assist the Finance Manager with additional accounting tasks to support overall finance operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Completed formal training or courses in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts payable or similar role within an SME setting
• Ability to work independently to manage accounts payable functions effectively
• Proficiency in using accounting software for accurate financial record-keeping and processing
• Availability to work a 5-day work week
