HR Manager
Location: Upper Thomson, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $5,000 – $7,000 per month (Depending on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead the day-to-day Human Resource operations of a growing healthcare organisation. This role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions, with a strong focus on payroll, compensation & benefits, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and HR operations.
The successful candidate should enjoy being operationally involved while partnering with management to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Oversee the full spectrum of Human Resource operations.
- Ensure smooth execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding.
- Review and improve HR policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Payroll & Compensation & Benefits
- Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
- Administer employee benefits, leave management, insurance, and compensation programmes.
- Ensure compliance with CPF, IRAS, MOM, and other statutory requirements.
- Handle payroll reconciliations and statutory submissions.
Talent Management
- Support recruitment activities, including workforce planning, interviewing, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
- Work closely with department managers to fulfil manpower requirements.
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and employment matters.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, disciplinary matters, and grievance handling where required.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and relevant employment legislation.
- Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data.
- Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and management reports.
- Support internal and external audits where required.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Participate in HR projects and organisational initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of Human Resource experience, including payroll and HR operations.
- Hands-on experience managing the full spectrum of HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations, CPF, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in payroll administration and Compensation & Benefits.
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Healthcare industry experience will be an advantage.
