Job Description

Requirements

 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Interior Design, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in site supervision, construction, interior fit-out, or renovation projects. Fresh graduates with strong interest are encouraged to apply (if applicable). 
  • Knowledge of construction methods, project execution, site coordination, and quality control. 
  • Able to interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. 
  • Familiar with site safety requirements and good housekeeping practices. 
  • Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. 
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify site issues and recommend practical solutions. 
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microsoft Project software is an added advantage. 
  • Willing to travel, work at project sites, and work after office hours, weekends, or public holidays when project requirements demand. 
  • Possess a valid Class D driving licence and own transportation is an added advantage. 
  • Able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage due to project coordination requirements.

Responsibilities

  

  • Supervise general site activities and project execution to ensure works are carried out according to project requirements, approved drawings, specifications, and schedule. 
  • Monitor daily site activities, facilities, and site conditions to ensure smooth project operations and timely completion of works. 
  • Prepare, compile, and maintain accurate project reports, site updates, and relevant project documentation.
  • Manage and supervise daily site labour workforce, including manpower planning, attendance, productivity, and work allocation. 
  • Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, clients, landlords, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. 
  • Review, verify, and assess subcontractor claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with actual work progress and project requirements. 
  • Monitor workmanship quality and ensure all site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and company standards. 
  • Identify site issues, delays, or risks and report to the Project Manager with necessary updates and recommendations. 
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
