Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Electrical projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Strong hands-on experience with power distribution systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, cabling, and related electrical infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of applicable electrical codes, standards, and statutory regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team player skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, software, and reporting systems.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of large-scale electrical engineering projects
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards and industry regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clients, contractors, and stakeholders, to coordinate project activities and deliver high-quality results
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions to optimise project performance
- Monitoring project progress, tracking budgets, and providing regular updates to senior management
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices in electrical engineering
