Secretlab Hiring! Full Time Industrial Designer in - Ricebowl

Secretlab is an international gaming chair brand seating over 3 million users worldwide, with our key markets in the United States, Europe and Singapore, where we are headquartered.

You will be a valued member in our award-winning Product team, responsible for creating products for consumers across over 60 countries. In this dynamic role, you will design world-class products that are used by a wide global audience, seeing them through from R&D to mass production.

Our Product team is involved with all Secretlab’s industry-leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Responsibilities

• Drive concept designs, development and product decisions.
• Innovate new materials/material combinations with specific functional goals.
• Work closely with the design team and elevate their concepts with your color, material and finish expertise, maintaining and documenting comprehensive CMF specifications.
• Execute Product Graphic Design requirements onto physical models and packaging structures, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Collaborate closely with the wider Product team to discuss development timelines, design integration, and manufacturability for products and packaging.
• Collaborate with suppliers to design, test and validate your new material ideas.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to define the CMF requirements and sign off on samples/ first articles.
• Help Secretlab stay ahead of the game by keeping up to date with new material innovations and the latest trends through extensive research, collaborations and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or the equivalent
• 3 to 5 years’ of experience in Industrial Design/Product Design, ideally handling consumer goods, lifestyle hardware, or related physical products
• Knowledge in industry-standard ID and visualization software such as Rhino, Vizcom, and Adobe Suite
• Hands on attitude for prototyping and testing
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
• Adaptable and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, Mandarin is a plus (For liaising with Mandarin speaking vendors)
• Ability to travel for work
