Job Summary:

Prosegur Singapore is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Commercial Security Officer (SO) to join our team at our Lakeside location. The Commercial SO will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our commercial clients, ensuring the protection of property and the well-being of individuals on the premises. This position requires a professional demeanor, keen observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure adherence to security protocols.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential threats or security breaches.
• Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Control access to the premises, verifying identification and authorizing entry for authorized personnel and visitors.
• Maintain a log of activities, incidents, and observations, providing detailed and accurate reports.
• Enforce company policies and site-specific regulations to ensure a secure and orderly environment.
• Assist in the investigation of security incidents and provide support to law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees, answering inquiries and offering assistance in a courteous manner.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Security Officer role, preferably within a commercial setting.
• Possession of a valid Security Personnel License (SPL).
• Strong understanding of security procedures, risk assessment, and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV operation and other security systems.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• A formal and professional approach to all duties.

Working Hours:

• Timing: 07:30 AM to 07:30 PM (Day Shift)

Remuneration:

• Up to S$3,090 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
