Job Description
Responsibilities
At the Martin Boey Organization, we work with business owners and companies across different industries to better understand their goals, identify potential risks and explore strategies that support both their people and the long-term sustainability of their businesses.
This internship is designed for individuals who want to move beyond classroom theories and experience how business conversations take place in real life.
Throughout your internship, you will work alongside our team on a variety of projects involving business planning, corporate solutions and organisational development. Rather than focusing on one specific area, you will gain exposure to different aspects of business consulting and learn how multiple solutions come together to address the needs of a company.
Depending on the projects available, your responsibilities may include researching industries and companies, analysing business trends, preparing presentation materials, supporting client proposals and gathering information that helps our consultants better understand the challenges faced by business owners.
You may also assist in areas such as corporate employee benefits, business succession planning, buy-sell arrangements between business partners, employee engagement initiatives and corporate wellness programmes. Through these projects, you will gain a broader appreciation of how businesses manage both operational and people-related challenges.
During your internship, you may have opportunities to observe meetings and discussions with business owners, HR professionals and corporate decision-makers. These experiences will help you understand how professional conversations are conducted, how client needs are identified and how ideas are communicated clearly and effectively.
You will also develop valuable workplace skills that extend beyond consulting itself. These include conducting business research, presenting information professionally, communicating with stakeholders, analysing business situations, organising information, thinking critically and working collaboratively with a team.
If you enjoy understanding how organisations make important decisions, appreciate solving problems and want to gain exposure to real business situations that cannot be fully taught in a classroom, this internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while developing practical business knowledge.
Whether you are considering a future career in consulting, management, corporate strategy or simply want to better understand how businesses make decisions, this internship will provide valuable experience that can help you build a strong foundation for your career.
Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per month
