Summary

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all air conditioning and ventilation systems within the factory to ensure optimal temperature control for production areas, equipment, and staff comfort.

Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled servicing for all HVAC systems (AHU, FCU, split units, ventilation systems)
• Clean filters, ducts, cooling coils, and drainage systems
• Monitor and maintain proper temperature/humidity levels in production areas
• Ensure uninterrupted cooling for sensitive machinery and storage areas

2. Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose and repair breakdowns (e.g. insufficient cooling, system failure, abnormal noise)
• Repair or replace components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and sensors
• Handle urgent breakdowns that may affect production operations

3. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all HVAC systems comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Handle refrigerants safely according to environmental guidelines
• Support audits (internal / external / ISO)

4. Equipment & Facility Support

• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during servicing
• Support facility maintenance including ventilation, exhaust systems, and cooling systems
• Assist in installation or upgrading of HVAC systems in factory expansion projects

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain service logs and maintenance records
• Report recurring issues and recommend improvements
• Track spare parts usage and inventory

6. Emergency Response

• Respond quickly to HVAC failures that impact production lines
• Perform corrective actions to minimize downtime

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in HVAC maintenance (factory experience preferred)
• Knowledge of centralized air conditioning systems (AHU/Chiller system is an advantage)
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls
• Willing to work shifts / on-call for emergency maintenance

Pay: From RM2,100.00 per month
