• Lead the design process for assigned projects, ensuring creative, functional, and technical excellence.

• Collaborate with the Director to establish design strategies, goals, and project timelines.

• Ensure designs align with client expectations, industry trends, and company standards.

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project engineers, to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor progress and adjust design plans as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen challenges.

• Understand client needs and translate them into actionable design solutions.

• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.

• Promote teamwork and a collaborative work environment among design staff and other project teams.

• Produce detailed design specifications, drawings, and documentation for use by Project and Production Teams.

• Ensure that designs are following relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

• Review and approve design documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.

• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes and outputs.

• Conduct post-project reviews to assess design performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Allocate resources efficiently and ensure that design projects are executed within time and cost constraints.

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
