Role Overview:
Savills operates a hybrid IT delivery model. The IT Application Manager serves as the primary bridge between business users and technology teams, ensuring that business applications effectively support Savills Singapore's operational and strategic objectives. Acting as the local Subject Matter Expert (SME), this role is responsible for managing application requirements, driving user adoption, providing application support, and leading system enhancements that deliver business value.
The successful candidate works closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, provides expert guidance on application capabilities, resolves functional and technical issues, coordinates with vendors and product teams, and champion continuous improvement initiatives. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering skills are essential, as this role requires regular engagement with users across multiple Savills Singapore offices.

Key responsibilities:
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all application-related requirements from the Singapore business.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor on application capabilities and solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable enhancement requests.
- Facilitate communication between business users, technology teams, and software vendors to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
Application Ownership & Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as the local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned business applications.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of application functionality, workflows, data structures, and business processes.
- Ensure applications are aligned with evolving business requirements and operational needs.
- Maintain application documentation, user guides, and knowledge repositories.
User Training & Support
- Provide day-to-day application support for business users across multiple offices.
- Deliver user onboarding, training sessions, workshops, and refresher programs to drive application adoption and effectiveness.
- Develop training materials and best practice guides to improve user competency.
- Monitor user feedback and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
Application Support & Incident Management
- Perform first and second-level application troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Investigate and diagnose application-related incidents, data issues, and system problems.
- Escalate unresolved issues to product teams, vendors, or regional technology teams when required.
- Coordinate and follow through on issue resolutions to ensure minimal business disruption.
Enhancement & Change Management
- Lead the assessment, planning, and implementation of application enhancements and new functionality.
- Work with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancement requests based on operational impact and business value.
- Participate in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Support application upgrades, releases, and change management activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in application support, business system support, or a similar role.
