Job Description

Responsibilities

You will support the Senior Director / Retail & Leasing in developing and implementing the overall leasing strategy and tenant mix in Gardens by the Bay to achieve occupancy, revenue, and placemaking objectives. You will conduct market research and analyse industry trends, competitor activities and customer insights to identify leasing opportunities and recommend strategies to strengthen the tenant mix.


You will proactively identify, source and attract tenants that align with Gardens by the Bay’s positioning and target tenant profile. You will lead end-to-end leasing negotiations including new leases, renewals and other tenancy matters, while ensuring compliance with organisational policies, legal requirements and regulatory guidelines.


You will cultivate strong long-term relationships with existing and prospective tenants to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention. You will oversee tenancy administration and arrears management, address tenancy-related issues and feedback, and work closely with relevant departments to ensure smooth leasing operations.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant leasing experience, preferably in retail, commercial, or mixed-use developments
  • Demonstrated experience in lease negotiations, tenant relationship management and portfolio management.
  • Good understanding of leasing practices, market trends and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Possess technical knowledge of building services and M&E systems to assess the operational feasibility of commercial concepts, evaluate tenants' technical requirements, and coordinate effectively with Engineering, Development and consultants.
  • Strong commercial acumen with sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays for operational events, tenancy matters and perform ad-hoc inspection on tenants.
