Job Summary:
- Responsible for the complete engineering design and technical documentation of UPS systems throughout the project lifecycle, from sales handover to final system delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop technical solutions based on customer requirements, quality standards, project specifications, and cost optimization objectives.
- Configure UPS system, perform detailed design, and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) according to customer specifications and company engineering standards.
- Create UPS design drawings and documentation using engineering tools such as EPLAN, including electrical schematics and BOM preparation.
- Review customer specifications, identify technical requirements, and provide engineering support during project execution.
- Act as the primary technical contact for Project Managers and provide solutions for project-related engineering queries.
- Collaborate closely with Project Management, Technical Management, R&D, Procurement, Assembly, and Testing teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage technical coordination with third-party suppliers, including clarification of specifications and preparation of purchase requisitions.
- Support project milestones by ensuring engineering deliverables are completed according to the agreed project schedule.
- Prepare project technical documents including technical data sheets, testing documentation, calculations, manuals, and non-standard instructions.
- Provide support to assembly and test teams during production, troubleshooting, and system verification activities.
- Prepare assembly and test documentation required for production release.
- Perform system release activities and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), including technical inspections and resolution of punch list items.
- Coordinate engineering changes and modifications through Change Instructions (CI) when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant fields
- 7 years above of experiences in Electrical Design
- Experiences working in electrical manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Experience in designing large and/or complex projects independently
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience in UPS system will be added advantage
