Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Device Engineer to provide end-user support for computing devices and IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing asset management, supporting users, and working closely with vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Employment Type : 2-Year Renewable Contract

Salary: $2,500 – $2,700

Location: SAFTI Camp (West Area)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Minimum Qualification: Local Polytechnic Diploma / Higher Nitec in IT-related discipline

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform asset management for IT infrastructure and computing devices.
• Provide technical support, including troubleshooting, configuration, patching, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Support Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
• Work closely with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Provide user training, coaching, and guidance on the use of computing devices.
• Handle helpdesk requests and ensure timely resolution of assigned tasks.
• Deliver quality support while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in an IT-related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with relevant IT certifications are welcome to apply, provided they are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 1–2 years of experience supporting computing devices or in a similar IT support role will be an advantage.
• Experience supporting Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive, organised, and able to multitask effectively.
