Job Summary
Lead and manage Sales Team to achieve the company’s GP Target and drive business growth.
Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities
Responsibilities
- Oversee and report on the performance and activities of the Sales Team.
- Lead and Inspire: Direct and oversee the Corporate Sales Team to consistently achieve and surpass the company's sales targets and strategic objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement actionable, data-driven plans to not only meet but exceed sales goals, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on market trends and competitive dynamics, proactively proposing strategic adjustments to enhance the Corporate Sales go-to-market (GTM) approach.
- Profitability Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market dynamics to create effective collection plans that drive profitability and sustained revenue growth.
- Team Development: Manage, coach, and motivate team members to enhance their skills and maintain high professional standards, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all team members adhere to the company’s policies, procedures, and standards of conduct, promoting a professional and ethical sales environment.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, providing insights on sales performance and market conditions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align strategies and improve customer experience.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance the sales team's product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Performance Metrics Monitoring: Analyze sales metrics and KPIs regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to boost performance.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular assessments of competitors' activities and strategies to inform sales tactics and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Participation in Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote products and build brand awareness.
- Regularly report to the Head of Sales on: Daily activities and progress of the Corporate Sales Team and key performance metrics and achievements aligned with business unit objectives.
- Project / Special task: Undertake special projects or assignments as directed by the Head of Sales or Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field, preferably in sales, business development, or team management.
- Knowledgeable about the IT, with a strong grasp of market trends and opportunities.
- Proficient in negotiation and stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain productive client relationships.
- Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven, with a positive attitude toward challenges and opportunities.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities, capable of managing and mentoring a team effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and presentation software.
- Possess own transport
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
