POSITION: SAFETY ENGINEER

LOCATION: CTRM AERO COMPOSITES SDN. BHD., MELAKA

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, heavy industry, or high-risk environments.
• Professional certification such as Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is strongly preferred.
• Green Book holder or eligible for SHO registration is an added advantage.
• Experience in risk assessment methodologies (HIRARC/ HIRADC).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement Safety & Health policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with DOSH and Malaysian regulations.
• Conduct HIRARC/HIRADC and risk assessments; establish and implement effective control measures.
• Drive Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce permit-to-work and site safety requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, internal audits, and emergency drills.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Monitor safety KPIs, manage digital safety systems, and ensure ISO 45001 documentation compliance.
• Deliver safety induction and training programs to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Prepare and submit statutory safety reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
