We're building fast. Cashku is scaling rapidly and we're looking for an Operations/Business Admin Intern to join our team — getting hands-on with the engine that keeps our business running.

About This Role

We are hiring an Intern to work directly with the Operations team on regulated operations, partnership execution, and business process design. You will handle compliance-sensitive workflows, review legal documentation, and help build the operational infrastructure of a scaling fintech.

We're looking for someone meticulous, resourceful, and comfortable using AI to work smarter. This is a role for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to see how a scaling Fintech operates from the inside.

This is not a typical startup internship. We operate in one of the most heavily regulated sectors in financial services, and our interns work on real, consequential problems alongside the founding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operations, including transaction processing, documentation, and compliance requirements.

• Review agreements, contracts, and other legal documents with a sharp eye for detail — flagging inconsistencies, missing information, or potential issues.

• Assist with client and partner onboarding — ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely setup processes.

• Support the establishment and maintenance of business partnerships.

• Handle general company operations tasks — from documentation to process improvement.

• Use AI tools proactively to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and solve problems faster.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (please only apply if you meet these)

• Pursuing or have ompleted a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related fields.

• Demonstrated use of AI tools to work efficiently — we want someone who's already using AI to get more done.

• Exceptional attention to detail — you catch errors others miss and take pride in accuracy

• You work autonomously. You research before you ask. You solve problems before you escalate them.

• Basic understanding of finance and business concepts (bonus if you have exposure to Fintech or capital markets).

• Proficiency in English (Bahasa Malaysia is a plus), with strong written communication skills.

Bonus:

• Prior internship or project experience in financial services, consulting, legal, or regulated industries. 

• Familiarity with Malaysia’s capital markets framework (Securities Commission guidelines, unit trust structures, etc.)

• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel at an advanced level, SQL, Python, etc.)

• Exposure to startup or high-growth environments where ambiguity is the norm.
