Role Description The Senior Executive Purchase role is a full-time, on-site position based in Johore, Malaysia. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, parts, and services required for high-pressure die casting operations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory levels, preparing purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, and coordinating with production, quality, and finance teams to meet operational needs and cost targets. The Senior Executive Purchase also tracks market trends, evaluates supplier performance, and implements procurement best practices and cost-optimization initiatives. The role involves regular reporting on purchase activities, compliance with company policies, and support for continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in procurement, supplier sourcing, and vendor management, preferably within manufacturing or metal parts industries.
• Experience in contract negotiation, price benchmarking, and cost optimization for materials and services.
• Knowledge of inventory control, materials planning, and basic supply chain management principles.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare purchase reports, and use ERP or procurement-related software systems.
• Familiarity with industrial purchasing standards, quality requirements, and compliance with company policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple purchasing activities simultaneously.
• Relevant experience in a purchasing or supply chain role; experience in metal manufacturing or die casting is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Johore, Malaysia, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
