Staff Nurse – Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) & Fertility Clinic

Location: Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre (Orchard)

We are a busy and established Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Fertility practice at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, Orchard, caring for women through pregnancy, fertility treatment (IVF), and gynaecological surgery. Our close-knit team currently consists of five staff members, and we are looking for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join us.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is keen to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Nursing

* Administer IM and SC injections.

* Set up IV plugs (an advantage but not essential).

* Dispense medications without error

* Provide safe and compassionate patient care.

IVF & Fertility Care

* Learn all aspects of IVF nursing (comprehensive training will be provided). This will involve theory and practical learning.

* Educate patients on self-administering SC IVF injections.

* Ensure patients understand and follow the correct medication dosages and schedules.

* Liaise with IVF centres for case coordination and scheduling.

Operating Theatre (OT)

* Coordinate and list operative cases with the OT.

* Liaise with insurance companies for surgical cases.

* Assist in the operating theatre as a secondary assistant for occasional procedures (approximately 1–2 cases per month). Full training will be provided.

Administrative & Clinic Support

* Order medications and maintain inventory.

* Update and maintain patient databases and clinic records.

* Support other clinic functions when required, including reception duties, room assistance, and chaperoning patients.

What We Are Looking For

- Singaporean or PR Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration.

* Experience in O&G or fertility nursing is a definite advantage but not essential.

* Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

* A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

* A reliable, committed individual with a strong sense of responsibility.

* A team player who is flexible and willing to support colleagues across different areas of the clinic.

* Good attendance and professionalism are essential, as continuity of care is important in our practice.
