PASTRY ASSISTANT

Caffe Beviamo is looking for a reliable and passionate Pastry Assistant to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Assist with the daily preparation and production of cakes, pastries, desserts and other baked items

•⁠ ⁠Measure, mix and prepare ingredients according to recipes

•⁠ ⁠Support the pastry chef throughout the production process

•⁠ ⁠Bake, decorate, portion and present products according to our standards

•⁠ ⁠Ensure consistency in taste, quality and presentation

•⁠ ⁠Assist with stock control, storage and ingredient rotation

•⁠ ⁠Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic pastry kitchen

•⁠ ⁠Follow all food-safety and hygiene procedures

•⁠ ⁠Perform other pastry and kitchen duties when required

Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Previous pastry, baking or kitchen experience is preferred

•⁠ ⁠Basic knowledge of baking and pastry preparation

•⁠ ⁠Good attention to detail and presentation

•⁠ ⁠Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately

•⁠ ⁠Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

•⁠ ⁠Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

•⁠ ⁠Available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
