Other Specification

• Must have a Bachelor degree in civil engineering with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience in bridge construction..
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design of bridge
• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
• Knowledge of relevant earthquake and disaster-resistant structures
• The proven track record for managing personnel and material resources
• Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and project management skills

Job Description

• Dealing with change orders, delays, variation orders, price adjustment, bonus, Lab tests etc
• Submission of every interim payment certificates for payment
• Receiving instructions from the client/ consultant/ engineer and taking action on time
• Immediate information to the Project Manager of Head office for any obstruction to the progress of the work
• Planning and allocating right people to the right place
• Conducting weekly site meeting
• Submit monthly work progress report within seven days of next month to Project Manager in the head office
• Ensure implementation of construction activity in line with the design and budget formulated by the organization
• Provide timely and accurate information to account department and site managers/supervisors
• Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site and ensure that all materials used and works performed are in accordance with the specifications
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
• Plan the work and efficiently organize the site in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Undertaking of necessary surveys
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency and implementation to those improvements
