Role Description The Junior HRBP role is a full-time position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Junior HRBP supports HR business partnering activities, including assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes. The position involves coordinating performance and talent management initiatives, maintaining HR records, and preparing reports to support data-driven decisions. The Junior HRBP helps address employee queries, supports employee engagement programs, and collaborates with managers to ensure HR policies are communicated and followed. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of HR processes and participates in projects that enhance organizational culture and workforce effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with employees and managers.
  • Foundational knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfort with data entry, HR documentation, and basic HR reporting using spreadsheets or HRIS tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues and propose practical, people-centered solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior internship or entry-level experience in HR, talent management, or administration is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic environment that supports professional development.
