About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support our project commercial management, cost control, and procurement functions across ongoing Singapore projects. In this role, you will work closely with senior cost managers, project teams, and sub-contractors to maintain strict budget controls and accurate post-contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Tendering: Assist in preparing tender documentation, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and preliminary cost estimates for upcoming projects.
• Procurement & Sub-contract Management: Source supplier/sub-contractor quotations, compile comparison evaluation sheets, and assist in drafting sub-contract agreements.
• Claims & Variations: Help evaluate monthly progress claims, verify site variation orders (VOs), and support final account settlements with clients and sub-contractors.
• Cost Monitoring: Track project expenditures against approved budgets, assist with cash-flow forecasts, and update commercial logs regularly.
• Site Inspections: Conduct joint site measurements with site managers and sub-contractors to verify completed work against claims.

Key Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline (recognized by SISV / RICS guidelines).
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of quantity surveying or commercial management experience in Singapore construction projects. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Core Competencies: Solid understanding of measurement principles, standard forms of contract (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC), and cost management protocols.
• Software Skills: Proficient in MS Excel. Familiarity with takeoff software (e.g., CostX, Glodon, or AutoCAD) is an advantage.
• Attributes: Strong numerical aptitude, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a meticulous approach to documentation.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
