Role Description The M&E Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Klang. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and ELV works for building and industrial projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical drawings, preparing project plans, monitoring site progress, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. The M&E Project Engineer will work closely with contractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues, manage resources and schedules, and support testing, commissioning, and handover activities. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement in project execution and facility performance.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in M&E and Building Services, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary systems within building and industrial projects.
  • Experience in Facility Management (FM) and Building Maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, codes, and standards relevant to building and industrial installations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and to prepare clear project documentation and reports.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, contractors, and clients on-site.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in basic project management tools and MS Office; experience with CAD or engineering software is an advantage.
