About EarlyAfter

EarlyAfter is a hybrid café and cocktail bar inspired by the rhythm of city life — from first sip to last call. By day, we serve breakfast, brunch, and specialty coffee; by night, we transform into a cozy bar with crafted cocktails and hearty mains. We believe in good food, warm service, and consistency that delights our guests every time.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in well-executed dishes, and brings a calm, positive energy to the team. You’ll prepare and plate items across breakfast, brunch, and dinner service, ensuring quality, hygiene, and timing are always on point.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to EarlyAfter’s recipes, standards, and plating guidelines.
  • Manage mise-en-place for each service period (breakfast, brunch, dinner).
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation for all menu items.
  • Assist in new dish testing, R&D, and seasonal menu updates.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets NEA hygiene and safety standards.
  • Monitor food stock levels, handle deliveries, and report shortages to the Head Chef / Manager.
  • Support smooth coordination between kitchen and service team, ensuring timely order flow.
  • Uphold EarlyAfter’s brand standards and values of professionalism, teamwork, and care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a café, restaurant, or bistro kitchen
  • Strong foundation in Western and Asian-fusion cuisine
  • Good understanding of basic kitchen operations (prep, grill, pan, fry, sauce work)
  • Food hygiene certification
  • Ability to handle busy periods with calmness and efficiency
  • Positive work attitude, punctual, and reliable
  • Must work weekends and public holidays (rotational/ Staggered Duties)

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)
  • Staff meals and beverages
  • Growth opportunities in a creative and expanding F&B group
  • Supportive team culture with structured training and development
