You will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy between physical stock, the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and SAP, while maintaining compliance with company procedures and inventory control standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute accurate goods receiving and verify quantities, quality, and documentation.
- Inspect incoming goods for damages or discrepancies and prepare reports when required.
- Ensure proper storage using FIFO/FEFO principles and warehouse mapping.
- Maintain designated areas for damaged, returned, short-expiry, excess, and write-off products.
- Ensure all products are correctly coded, labelled, and weighed according to company standards.
- Perform daily cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and inventory variance investigations.
- Reconcile inventory between WMS and SAP and maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Update product master data and coordinate new item creation with Finance.
- Monitor and report short-expiry, damaged, excess, and write-off inventory.
- Support annual stock takes, external audits, and inventory disposal processes.
- Provide backup support for Logistics Administration and warehouse operations when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and food safety standards.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
- Proficient in SAP, WMS, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, stock reconciliation, and cycle counting.
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
