Job Summary

Manage full-cycle monthly payroll processing and related HRIS updates for staff and workers in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Process full-cycle monthly payroll including salary computation, attendance verification, overtime calculation, allowances, CPF submission, and IR21 tax filing for foreign employees
  • Prepare and process payroll for staff and workers accurately and timely to meet payroll deadlines
  • Collaborate with site personnel to resolve payroll-related issues and provide clear, timely information to workers
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS to ensure data accuracy and completeness for payroll and reporting purposes
  • Generate accurate payroll and related reports regularly for internal and external stakeholders
  • Administer statutory claims such as NS, maternity, paternity, and child-care leave in compliance with Singapore regulations
  • Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day payroll operations on a monthly basis
  • Respond promptly to employee queries regarding timesheets, payslips, and pay calculations to maintain employee satisfaction
  • Process yearly employment income documentation and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage levy and waiver administration processes to ensure compliance and accurate deductions
  • Monitor leave costs and prepare workforce cost reports to support budgeting and financial planning
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support payroll and HR functions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management
  • 3-4 years of experience in construction or oil & gas industries
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and Singapore Employment Act
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables to analyze payroll data
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin for liaising with staff
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Meticulous and conscientious in handling confidential information with strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude

Monthly Salary Range (SGD) $3,500 – 4,500
