Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist at OPTIMAX Eye Specialist located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and treating visual problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing refractive surgery. Additionally, the Optometrist will be involved in educating patients on proper eye care and recommending appropriate treatments or procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field
• Valid professional license to practice as an Optometrist
• Strong knowledge of eye anatomy, physiology, and vision correction techniques
• Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing visual problems
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and recommend appropriate treatments
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong observation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in performing pre- and post-operative care is a plus
• Able to work during weekend
• 5-day work week during regular business hours / 5.5-day work week with shorter business hours (branch dependent)
