Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive visual examinations, binocular vision assessments, and ocular health screenings.
• Operate advanced optometric diagnostic equipment confidently to assess and diagnose visual conditions.
• Provide tailored recommendations for ophthalmic lenses, contact lenses, and visual aids based on individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on eye care, preventative measures, and visual ergonomics.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with patients.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and day-to-day optical retail management when necessary.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
• Registration: Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC).
• Experience: Open to both fresh graduates and experienced Optometrists.
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (ability to converse in Mandarin/other dialects is an added advantage).
