Job Summary

The Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the overall performance of the restaurant. The role focuses on business growth, financial performance, operational excellence, and leading the management team to achieve the company's long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans to drive growth and profitability in the restaurant.
• Manage and coordinate department heads across Operations, Kitchen, and Finance to ensure aligned performance and operational excellence.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, budgets, and key business metrics to inform decision-making and optimise results.
• Evaluate operational processes and implement improvements to maintain high standards across all departments.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers, business partners, and stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA), Ministry of Manpower (MOM), workplace safety, and other regulatory requirements.
• Direct business planning and expansion initiatives to support sustainable growth.
• Make informed key business decisions and provide clear guidance to the management team.
• Cultivate a positive organisational culture aligned with the company’s vision and goals to enhance employee engagement and performance.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of senior management or leadership experience in the F&B or hospitality industry.
• Strong business acumen demonstrated through strategic planning and financial management experience.
• Proven leadership and people management skills with a track record of leading teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and the Singapore F&B regulatory environment.
