We are seeking an accomplished and client-focused Account Director to lead strategic client relationships, drive business growth, and ensure the successful delivery of high-value solutions that align with client objectives and organizational goals. This leadership role is responsible for developing long-term account strategies, expanding key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing client satisfaction while delivering sustainable revenue growth.

The Account Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales, marketing, product, operations, finance, and customer success teams to develop account plans, manage complex engagements, oversee contract negotiations, and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding relationship management, commercial leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted partnerships across diverse industries.

You will oversee a portfolio of strategic accounts, develop growth initiatives, monitor account performance, identify market opportunities, and ensure alignment between client expectations and business objectives. The role also involves leading executive-level client engagements, supporting business development initiatives, optimizing account management processes, and driving continuous improvement to enhance customer value and long-term retention.

Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, executive presence, analytical thinking, and the ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution while creating lasting value for clients, partners, and the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that support long-term client success and business growth.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations, commercial discussions, and account renewal activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and exceptional customer experience.
  • Understand client business objectives and recommend tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Monitor account performance, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide strategic recommendations to clients and senior leadership.
  • Resolve complex client issues and ensure timely, effective solutions.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive insights, and new business opportunities.
  • Support business development activities, proposal preparation, and executive presentations.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure efficient service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Develop account forecasts, budgets, and revenue projections.
  • Promote customer retention, loyalty, and long-term partnership development.
  • Improve account management processes through continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Mentor and support account management teams to strengthen client engagement and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, corporate policies, and governance standards.
  • Represent the organization during executive meetings, client events, and industry conferences.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and customer-centric excellence.
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth while enhancing client satisfaction and organizational performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of account management, client relationship management, business development, and commercial strategy.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, contract negotiation, sales management, and customer engagement.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
