Job Description

Responsibilities

Our client is a leading startup in the semiconductor field and a leader in designing ultra low-power microprocessors. Opportunity to join a dynamic embedded software team developing SDKs and software platforms for next-generation microcontroller and SoC products. You will work closely with hardware, architecture, validation, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that enable innovative embedded applications.

Senior Bluetooth Software Engineer

(Low level Device Drivers, Bluetooth, HAL, ARM-Cortex M)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded wireless software for Bluetooth/BLE and other short-range wireless technologies.
  • Implement new features, perform code reviews, optimize software performance, and troubleshoot complex firmware issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate, validate, and debug wireless software on embedded platforms.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and interoperability tests while supporting test automation and software quality improvements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, support issue investigation, and contribute to software architecture and development planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Bluetooth/BLE protocol stacks, wireless firmware development, and debugging using protocol analyzers, sniffers, JTAG, GDB, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ development with experience in RTOS environments, software optimization, and low-level hardware interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with development best practices including Git, unit testing, continuous integration, and embedded software debugging.
  • Experience with Zephyr, peripheral interfaces (e.g. I2C, SPI/MSPI, UART, I2S, PDM, TDM), and additional wireless technologies such as Zigbee or Thread is an advantage.
