About the role

We are seeking a talented and client-focused Wealth Planner to join New Mastermind Jeyasri in Kedah. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their financial goals through comprehensive wealth management strategies. As a Wealth Planner, you will be at the forefront of our business, building lasting client relationships and providing tailored financial solutions that create meaningful value for our clients. This role is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional financial planning services and building our reputation as a trusted advisor in the wealth management industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive financial assessments and analysis of clients' financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance

2. Develop personalised wealth management strategies and financial plans aligned with clients' short-term and long-term objectives

3. Provide expert advice on investment portfolios, asset allocation, and diversification strategies

4. Review and monitor existing financial plans, making adjustments as market conditions and client circumstances change

5. Educate clients on financial products, investment options, and wealth management concepts to support informed decision-making

6. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, excellent service delivery, and ongoing support

7. Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with other departments to deliver holistic financial solutions

8. Maintain detailed client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards

9. Stay current with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices

10. Contribute to the growth of the business through client acquisition and retention initiatives

What we're looking for

1. Relevant qualification or certification in financial planning, such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or equivalent professional qualification

2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related financial services role

3. Strong knowledge of financial products, including investments, insurance, retirement planning, and estate planning

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms

5. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service

6. Proficiency in financial planning software and tools

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

8. Professional approach with high ethical standards and integrity

9. Ability to work independently whilst also thriving in a collaborative team environment

10. Preferably, experience working in the Malaysian financial services industry and familiarity with local market dynamics
