Your new role

As a Data Management Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting and optimising large-scale subsurface data environments within a high-performance computing ecosystem.

  • Managing and monitoring storage utilisation, data growth and lifecycle activities.
  • Supporting seismic processing and reservoir modelling workflows.
  • Performing data loading, quality control, archiving and data movement activities.
  • Operating and improving proprietary data management platforms and tools.
  • Working closely with customer stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Producing reports on storage utilisation, cost savings and data quality outcomes.
  • Collaborating with regional and international teams to support ongoing programme success

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3–5 years of experience working with subsurface data within the upstream oil & gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of seismic, well and reservoir data.
  • Experience in data management processes such as data loading, quality control and archiving.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Exposure to Python, scripting, HPC environments, Power BI, Spotfire, Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect or tNavigator will be advantageous
