Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Principal/Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to join our engineering team. This leadership role will focus on ensuring the performance and reliability of high-speed electronic systems, including designing and optimizing signal integrity (SI) for complex circuits and systems. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in high-frequency electrical design, signal integrity analysis, and hands-on experience working with high-performance hardware systems in industries such as telecommunications, data centers, or high-speed computing.
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead signal integrity efforts on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the design and implementation of high-quality, reliable electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead signal integrity analysis for high-speed PCB designs and interconnects, ensuring minimal signal degradation, reflections, crosstalk, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
- Perform simulations and modeling of high-frequency signal paths using tools such as HyperLynx, SIwave, CST, Ansys or other SI/EMI simulation software.
- Develop strategies to minimize noise, jitter, and other signal integrity issues in high-speed circuit designs, including differential pairs, transmission lines, and power delivery networks (PDN).
- Work closely with hardware engineers to design, test, and optimize high-speed interconnects, PCBs, and system layouts for minimal signal degradation.
- Participate in the design of high-performance communication systems, including data center equipment, optical transceiver, optical circuit switch, telecommunications infrastructure, and computing hardware.
- Ensure that high-speed circuits and systems are validated for performance and compliance with standards such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and other relevant protocols.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for SI-related issues during the product development cycle.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including signal integrity analysis reports, simulation results, and design recommendations.
