About the Role
Beyondsoft is strengthening its corporate communications presence across Southeast Asia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role will help shape how Beyondsoft communicates its corporate narrative, technology capabilities and regional activities to external audiences.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role covering corporate content, digital channels, media activities and regional events. The successful candidate will work independently while collaborating with business leaders, regional stakeholders and external partners to deliver clear, timely and consistent communications.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications and Content
- Develop and maintain content calendars across corporate websites, social media and other communication channels.
- Write and edit press releases, corporate announcements, thought-leadership articles, event communications, social media posts and other corporate materials.
- Translate business and technology topics into clear, engaging content for external audiences.
- Maintain consistency in corporate messaging, brand positioning and tone of voice.
Digital Channel Management
- Manage content and publishing across the company’s corporate website and social media platforms.
- Ensure that digital channels remain accurate, current and aligned with corporate communication priorities.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders on content development and publishing.
Media and Campaign Support
- Plan and execute selected paid-media activities, including Google Ads, boosted social content and online or offline media placements.
- Manage campaign expenditure within the approved budget.
- Track communication and channel performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Regional Event Support
- Support corporate events in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.
- Coordinate pre-event communications and administration, on-site content capture and post-event coverage.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications or a closely related role.
- Experience within B2B technology, enterprise solutions or IT services would be an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English, with demonstrated ability to produce professional corporate content such as press releases.
- Experience managing corporate websites, social media platforms and content calendars.
- Exposure to online and offline media management, including Google Ads, paid social media and media placements.
- Familiarity with CMS and marketing tools such as WordPress, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Canva.
- Strong stakeholder, agency and vendor-management capability.
- Able to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple deadlines.
- Willing to travel occasionally within Southeast Asia.
- Bilingual in communication or content capability would be an advantage for regional stakeholder coordination.
- Design, photography or video-editing capability would be an added advantage.
