The Assistant Manager, Station Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the station to ensure efficient parcel processing, dispatch, and delivery while achieving operational excellence. The role is accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous process improvements, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The incumbent will lead and develop station teams, monitor operational performance, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high service quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the station to ensure efficient parcel processing, dispatch, and delivery in accordance with established service standards.
• Drive operational performance by monitoring and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), including Delivery On Time (DOT), Standard Due Date (STD), Operational Compliance, Lost & Damage, and Cost Per Consignment/Weight (CPC/CPW).
• Analyze operational data and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational policies, and regulatory requirements across all station activities.
• Optimize manpower, fleet, and operational resources to maximize productivity while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop station personnel to foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Oversee parcel handling processes to minimize service failures, lost and damaged shipments, and customer complaints.
• Prepare and present operational reports, performance analyses, and action plans to support business objectives and management decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of inbound, outbound, and last-mile delivery operations.
• Promote a safe, secure, and compliant working environment by ensuring adherence to workplace health, safety, and security standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, courier, transportation, warehousing, or operations management
• Strong knowledge of station operations, last-mile delivery, parcel handling processes, and operational KPIs.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and implement process improvements.
