Job Summary:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of T&D substation projects. The role includes cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for T&D substation projects.
• Conduct cost control and cost monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and manage contracts, variations, claims, and payments.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Prepare progress payment certificates and advise on contractual and financial matters.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate cost and contractual risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of all financial transactions and project costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in T&D substation or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, procurement processes, and construction cost control.
• Experience with NEC, FIDIC, or other standard construction contracts.
• Proficient in MS Office and cost estimation software.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
