We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that support the company's branding, marketing, and communication objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, creativity, and the ability to deliver projects within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging videos.
- Produce video content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Create promotional videos, advertisements, product showcases, event highlights, and corporate videos.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, animations, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
- Perform colour correction, colour grading, and audio enhancement to improve overall video quality.
- Ensure all videos comply with the company's branding and visual identity guidelines.
- Organise and maintain video files, project assets, and editing archives.
- Export videos in the required formats and resolutions for different platforms.
- Review and revise videos based on feedback from management or clients.
- Keep up to date with the latest video editing techniques, software updates, and social media trends.
- Assist in video shooting and production activities when required.
- Ensure all assigned projects are completed accurately and within the specified timeline.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia, Film Production, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in video editing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, Story board or similar editing software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Basic knowledge of audio editing and colour grading.
- Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and willing to learn.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
