Job Description – Executive, Business Development (Mandarin Speaker)

Department: Business Development & Tender
Employment Type: 2-Year Contract (Renewable or Convertible to Permanent based on Performance)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Reports To: Senior Manager, Business Development, Tender & HR & Admin
Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Business Development Executive (Mandarin Speaker) to support our growing Business Development & Tender team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to three years of experience who are eager to build a career in business development, market research, and tender management within the engineering and project management industry.

You will play a key role in supporting business expansion initiatives, preparing tender submissions, conducting market research, and coordinating with regional stakeholders and headquarters to ensure smooth execution of business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the company's brand, engineering capabilities, and service offerings to potential clients and business partners.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential markets.
• Assist in preparing, coordinating, and submitting tender documents, proposals, and business presentations.
• Support the preparation of business reports and presentations for Management, Regional Office, and Shanghai Headquarters.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information required for tenders and business proposals.
• Assist in developing business development strategies to support company growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Support marketing and promotional activities when required.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as delegated by the Head of Department, Regional Office, or Shanghai Headquarters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with up to 3 years of working experience are also welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and headquarters.
• Willing to travel as required for business meetings and project support.
