Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow all kitchen SOPs, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Demi Chef, Commis Chef, or similar position in a hotel or restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Malaysian applicants are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
