Personal Driver for Director and Family

Basic Salary : RM2,200 per month
Estimated Monthly Earnings : RM2,800–RM3,200, depending on overtime
Working Hours : 45 basic working hours per week, excluding breaks
We are looking for a reliable, responsible and flexible personal driver for our director and family.
The job includes sending the director to work and meetings, sending children to school and activities, running simple errands and remaining on standby between trips.
The working day usually starts at 7:00 am. The schedule may be arranged over five or six days, depending on the weekly/monthly roster.
There will likely be evening and weekend work. All approved overtime will be paid at 1.5x the hourly rate or 2 x the hourly rate if it falls on a rest day or Public Holiday.
There are usually quiet standby periods during the day after the morning school and office trips. However, the driver must remain contactable, nearby and ready to drive when needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Send the director to and from work, meetings and appointments.
- Send children to and from school and activities.
- Drive family members when required.
- Run simple errands such as supermarket trips and collections.
- Remain on standby between driving assignments.
- Keep the vehicle clean and ready for use.
- Wash and vacuum the car, send for servicing, manage fuel and basic vehicle matters.
- Plan routes and manage travel time.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the director and family.
- Assist with reasonable tasks when required.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of professional driving experience.
- Must have a valid Malaysian driving licence.
- Must have a good and clean driving record.
- Must be confident driving an MPV.
- Familiar with roads and traffic in Klang Valley.
- Able to use Waze and Google Maps.
- Able to speak and understand Bahasa Malaysia.
- Basic English is preferred.
- Must have a smartphone with mobile data.
- Must have own transport to travel to Bangsar South.
- Must be punctual, honest and responsible.
- Must be flexible with working hours.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and overtime when required.
- Must be comfortable driving children.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
Working Schedule
- 45 basic working hours per week.
- Working hours do not include the unpaid break.
- Normal reporting time is 7:00 am.
- Some weeks may involve five working days.
- Some weeks may involve six working days.
- Evening and weekend duties are likely.
- Overtime is paid at double the hourly rate.
- Monthly earnings depend on the amount of overtime worked.
