Full Time Production Planner (Meta Manufacturing) Jobs, salary up to MYR 4,000 in HarvestHR Management & Services - Ricebowl

• Normal working hour/ Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quotation Process

• CS (Customer Service): Receives technical drawing files or 3D models from the customer.
• Process Engineer: Analyses the drawings to determine manufacturing feasibility (whether the factory is capable of producing it) and estimates tooling costs and the required machining time.
• Planner: Checks machine availability based on the current production schedule.
• Collaborative Outcome: CS is able to issue an accurate quotation and estimated completion date (Lead Time) to the customer.

2.Realistic Production Scheduling

• Process Engineer: Establishes the Cycle Time—for example, specifying that CNC process A takes exactly 15 minutes per unit.
• Planner: Uses this 15-minute data to input into the scheduling software (ERP) to plan the daily production volume. If the Process Engineer provides inaccurate timing, the Planner will fail to fulfil the order by the promised date.

3. Crisis Management / Production Delays

• Process Engineer: If a cutting tool suddenly breaks or a CNC program encounters an error, the Process Engineer goes down to the factory floor to troubleshoot and fix the issue.
• Planner cum CS: While the machine is down, the Planner must revise the schedule. If this delay impacts the delivery date, they (in their CS capacity) are responsible for contacting the customer to professionally communicate the delay and provide a new Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) based on discussions with the Process Engineer.

4. Customer Quality Complaints

• CS (Customer Service): Receives complaints from dissatisfied customers who received components that are out of tolerance (rejected parts). CS manages the return of goods.
• Process Engineer: Takes the rejected components, investigates the root cause of the error in the machine or process, and creates preventive measures. They write the technical report (typically an 8D Report).
• Collaborative Outcome: CS sends the 8D report to the customer to assure them that the factory has resolved the issue and that it will not recur.

Requirements,

• Minimum 1 years of experience in production planner and cum customer service
• Minimum Diploma in Supply chain management or related field

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
