Job Description
- Perform structural assessments under blast, shock, and other extreme events
- Apply international standards such as UFC 3‑340‑02
- Use advanced modelling tools and methods (training provided)
- Design blast-resistant elements and mitigation systems
- Work on infrastructure, industrial, and secure facility projects
- Generate technical reports, drawings, and design proposals
- Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and presentations
- Communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders
- Attend weekly coordination meetings with consultants and architects
- Conduct site surveys and monitor construction progress
- Work closely with senior engineers and project managers
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in structural design (reinforced concrete/steel)
- Knowledge of FEM/structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, MIDAS, SAP, PLAXIS)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Exposure to dynamic loading, non-linear modelling, or seismic analysis
