What You Do
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting activities, ensuring Trial Balances are closed accurately and within established timelines.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations within specified timelines, liaising with stakeholders to investigate and resolve outstanding items.
- Maintain Chart of Accounts segments, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with governance requirements.
- Administer and maintain departmental user access across financial systems, ensuring appropriate access rights and compliance with internal controls.
- Identify and resolve issues arising from day-to-day operations, and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to support seamless and effective operations.
- Support process improvement initiatives through the review and enhancement of financial processes, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and operational efficiency.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in finance operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with financial systems and processes, including accounting and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including finance, risk, and compliance teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
