Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Personal Financial Advisor role based in Singapore. The Personal Financial Advisor will meet with individual clients to assess their financial situations, understand their goals, and develop tailored financial plans. Daily responsibilities include providing advice on savings, investments, insurance, and retirement planning, as well as recommending suitable Maybank products and services. The role involves conducting regular portfolio reviews, monitoring market developments, and adjusting strategies accordingly to support clients’ long-term financial wellbeing. The advisor will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high standard of customer service, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with all regulatory and internal risk management requirements.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Personal Finance to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate strategies.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and Financial Services to explain products clearly and support sound decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning to help clients prepare for long-term financial security.
  • Relevant academic background (e.g., degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field) and recognized financial advisory certifications are beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse clients in a professional and inclusive manner.
  • Proven customer-focused mindset, ethical conduct, and adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience in banking, wealth management, or financial advisory roles in Singapore is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with good analytical skills and attention to detail.
