Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to support supplier quality across Southeast Asia.
This role is responsible for qualifying, auditing, and developing suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards before production approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier qualification and factory audits across Southeast Asia.
• Evaluate manufacturing capability, quality systems, and production readiness.
• Drive supplier corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Manage third-party audit providers and review audit findings.
• Support supplier qualification, approval, and ongoing quality performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relateerience.
• 8+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering exp
• 5+ years of factory auditing experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.
• Experience working with third-party audit organizations is highly preferred.
• Experience auditing suppliers in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% within the region.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa/work permit sponsorship is not available for this role
