Responsibilities

Role Summary

We are looking for an MIS Engineer to support IT infrastructure, system integration projects, and day-to-day IT operations. You will work with technologies such as networking, Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, virtualization, and end-user support. The role includes both office-based and onsite work at customer locations.

Responsibilities

1. Technical Support

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to networks, servers, Microsoft 365, cloud services, and user devices.
  • Perform system monitoring, maintenance, health checks, and documentation.
  • Support internal IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Escalate complex issues when required.


2. Project Implementation

  • Assist in deploying, configuring, testing, and commissioning IT solutions.
  • Support infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365 projects.
  • Participate in site surveys, implementation planning, user testing (UAT), and post-deployment support.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage assigned tasks and smaller project workstreams.


3. Onsite Support

  • Provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Support IT infrastructure deployment at offices, warehouses, retail outlets, factories, and new sites.
  • Conduct site assessments and gather technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, ISPs, and vendors during project implementation.
  • Verify infrastructure readiness before project go-live.


4. Network & Infrastructure

  • Configure and maintain network and IT infrastructure components, including: Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless networks, VPNs, Microsoft 365 environments
  • Assist with network design concepts such as VLANs, IP addressing, routing, security controls, and backup solutions.


5. Learning & Improvement

  • Continuously improve technical knowledge in networking, cloud computing, virtualization, cybersecurity, and system integration.
  • Participate in training, research, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and asset inventories.
  • Recommend improvements to technical standards and service quality.


6. Teamwork & Customer Engagement

  • Collaborate with engineers, project teams, vendors, customers, and management.
  • Participate in project discussions and customer meetings.
  • Deliver professional customer service.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.


Requirements

  • • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, infrastructure, or system administration.
  • Fresh graduates with strong technical skills, certifications, internship experience, home lab projects, or relevant portfolios are encouraged to apply.
